1 Gallon Oak Aging Barrel, 5 Liter Wooden Whiskey Barrel with Stand

About this barrel

Sold as a 1 gallon oak aging barrel, this 5 liter wooden whiskey barrel sits on a stand. Its size falls between quick-aging mini barrels and slow full-size casks. Note that 5 liters is closer to 1.3 gallons, so it holds a bit more than the name suggests.

Is a 1 gallon whiskey barrel a good first barrel?

For many home users, yes. It holds several bottles' worth, shows noticeable aging within weeks to months, and doesn't change so fast that one missed tasting will ruin a batch.

• Soak it in water first so the oak seals.
• The listing doesn't mention char, so check the description.
• Check the photos for a spigot and bung.
• Keep it on a level surface away from heat.

It's sold by an independent eBay seller and covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
