Oak barrels 10 liter Brass Band for whisky or spirits - free engraving

About this barrel

Shopping for a 10 liter oak barrel for whisky that also works as a keepsake? This new oak cask has brass bands instead of plain steel hoops, and the seller offers free engraving, so it can carry a name, a date or a distillery-style logo.

How fast does a 10L oak aging barrel work?

Slower than a 1L or 2L mini barrel, because less of the spirit touches the wood. That gives you more control over longer aging of whiskey, rum or brandy, and you refill less often.

• Prep first: fill it with water and let the staves swell until any seeping stops.
• Char and fittings: the title doesn't mention char level, a spigot or a stand. Check the listing.
• Engraving: confirm text limits and how to send your wording before you order.
• Buyer cover: eBay Money Back Guarantee.

A thoughtful gift for a home distiller or spirits fan.
