5 Liter Wooden Whiskey Barrel with Stand | Charred American Oak Home Liquor

About this barrel

American oak is the classic wood behind bourbon, and this 5 liter whiskey barrel with stand puts charred American oak on your countertop. At about 1.3 gallons, it holds several bottles, which makes it a practical step up from mini casks for aging liquor at home.

What can you age in a 5L charred oak barrel?

Whiskey and bourbon-style spirits are the obvious choices, but rum, brandy and batched cocktails also do well in charred oak. A 5L barrel ages faster than a big cask but slower than a 1L, which gives you a little more control.

• Fill it with water and let the staves swell until the leaks stop.
• The stand keeps it level on a bar or shelf.
• Check the listing to see whether a spigot and bung are included.
• Taste regularly and bottle when you like the flavor.

It's sold new by an independent eBay seller and covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
