5L Oak Whiskey Barrel Dispenser Decanter for Wine Spirits Beer Liquor - Brown

About this barrel

At a party, pouring from wood beats pouring from glass. A 5L oak whiskey barrel dispenser turns wine, spirits or even beer into a serving station. This brown decanter-style barrel is listed as new, and at five liters it holds enough for a gathering without crowding the counter.

Is a barrel dispenser for serving or for aging?

It can do some of both. Liquor left inside will pick up oak flavor over time, while a short stay is mostly about presentation. The listing doesn't mention a char, so check the description if aging matters to you.

• Soak the barrel in water before you fill it to prevent drips.
• Check the seller's photos for the tap and any stand.
• Rinse it between different drinks so flavors don't carry over.
• It makes a good wedding or bar-cart gift.
