1.5L Oak Aging Barrels Whiskey Barrel Dispenser Home Wine Bucket Whiskey Barr...

About this barrel

A 1.5L whiskey barrel dispenser like this one lets you age and pour from the same container. It's made of oak, listed new at $64.49, and sized for a home bar where a full cask would be too much.

How do you prepare an oak aging barrel dispenser before first use?

Fill it with warm water and let it sit so the wood swells and seals any seepage. This usually takes a day or more. Then empty it and add your spirit or wine.

• Speed: at 1.5 liters, flavor develops fast, so taste it weekly.
• Contents: check whether a spigot, stand or bung comes with it.
• Interior: look in the listing for char or toast details.
• Storage: keep it out of direct sun and heat.

It's sold by an independent eBay seller and covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
