1.5L Oak Whiskey Barrel Dispenser Decanter for Wine Spirits Beer Liquor Brown

About this barrel

This 1.5L oak whiskey barrel dispenser has a brown finish and is listed new at $63.84. The seller markets it as a decanter for wine, spirits, beer and liquor. It's a compact choice for a bar cart or kitchen shelf.

Which drinks work best in a 1.5 liter oak decanter?

Spirits such as whiskey, rum and brandy are the easiest fit, because their alcohol helps prevent spoilage. Wine works for shorter stays. Beer is best served quickly instead of stored, since it can go flat or sour in wood.

• Soak the barrel with water so it swells before the first pour.
• Check the listing for char or toast inside.
• Confirm that the spigot and stand in the photos come with it.
• Clean it between drink types so flavors don't mix.
