20L Vertical Wooden Wine Barrel w/ Faucet&Bracket for storing whiskey, rum, brandy

About this barrel

A 20L oak brandy barrel lets you mellow homemade or store-bought brandy at a pace you can actually keep up with. This new vertical model comes with a faucet and bracket, and it's also listed for whiskey and rum.

What should I know before filling a 20L oak brandy barrel?

Prep matters most. Fill the empty barrel with water and let the staves swell until the leaks stop. Then drain it and add your brandy.

• Patience: a 20-liter cask ages more slowly than 1-3 liter barrels, so taste every few weeks.
• Dispensing: the faucet lets you draw samples without disturbing the bung.
• Interior: our data doesn't list the char or toast level, so read the seller's description.
• Display: the bracket holds it upright on a bar or sideboard.
