20L Vertical Wooden Wine Barrel w/ Faucet&Bracket for storing whiskey, rum, brandy

About this barrel

Spiced rum, a house brandy, a bourbon you want to finish your own way: a vertical 20L oak barrel with faucet can handle all of them while taking up little room. This new cask comes with a bracket. Its capacity of about 5.3 gallons is a sensible step up for hobbyists who have outgrown 5 liter minis.

Why choose a vertical 20L oak barrel over a horizontal one?

An upright barrel takes up less shelf width and puts the faucet at an easy pouring height. Confirm the barrel's position and where the tap sits in the listing photos.

• Aging pace: slower than a mini, which gives you more time to taste and adjust.
• Before filling: swell it with water until it holds tight.
• Unknowns: char, toast and stave thickness aren't stated, so ask the seller.
