Blanton’s Bourbon Barrel No Alcohol

About this barrel

Bourbon lovers often want a piece of their favorite label at home, and this Blanton's bourbon barrel is listed empty, with no alcohol, by an independent eBay seller at $325. It's an American oak cask, which makes it equally at home as a display piece or a reuse project.

What condition is this Blanton's bourbon barrel in?

The listing marks condition as new while categorizing it as a used barrel, which could mean a former bourbon barrel in good shape. Ask the seller to clarify before buying.

• Request photos of any Blanton's markings on the heads or staves.
• Ask for dimensions, since capacity isn't listed.
• If you plan to age with it, soak it with water first to swell the staves.
• Seal the exterior if it will sit in a living space.
