20L Vertical Wooden Wine Barrel w/ Faucet&Bracket for storing whiskey, rum, brandy

About this barrel

A medium oak aging barrel like this 20L vertical model sits between fast mini casks and full-size barrels. You give up some speed, but you get a steadier aging curve that's easier to manage.

How fast does a medium oak aging barrel work?

More slowly than a small one. Small barrels have more wood contact per liter, so they color and flavor spirits quickly. A 20-liter barrel gives you a wider window before the oak takes over.
