2L Charred American White Oak Bourbon Aging Barrel Dispenser B512

About this barrel

Want a 2L charred American white oak bourbon barrel that gives a store-bought bottle more depth? This new B512 dispenser is listed at $103.43. It's a small cask, the size many home aging hobbyists start with.

How fast does a 2 liter charred barrel age bourbon?

Fast. A mini cask has more oak surface per ounce than a full-size barrel. Taste it about once a week instead of waiting months.

• Fill it with water first and let the wood swell until any leaks stop.
• Char usually adds caramel and vanilla notes. The exact char level isn't listed, so check the description or ask the seller.
• Look for photos that show the spigot, bung and stand.
• It also works for rum, rye or batched cocktails, not just bourbon.
