20L Vertical Wooden Wine Barrel w/ Faucet&Bracket for storing whiskey, rum, brandy

About this barrel

A 20L vertical oak wine barrel with faucet and bracket gives you a stand-up cask for storing whiskey, rum or brandy at home. At roughly 5.3 gallons, it sits between tabletop minis and full-size cooperage, and standing upright saves counter space.

Is a 20L vertical oak wine barrel good for aging whiskey?

Yes, if you're patient. Larger barrels have less wood contact per liter than minis, so flavor builds more slowly and evenly. Check the listing for any char or toast level before you plan your recipe.

• Prep first: fill it with water and let the staves swell until the leaks stop, then add spirits.
• Faucet and bracket: check the photos to see how the tap mounts and how the bracket holds the barrel upright.
• Sold new at $95.50 by an independent eBay seller.
• Also works for: wine, homemade vinegar or a rustic bar display.
