20L Vertical Wooden Wine Barrel w/ Faucet&Bracket for storing whiskey, rum, brandy

About this barrel

Pre-batched Manhattans, Negronis and Boulevardiers take on a rounder edge after time in wood. Barrel-aged cocktails at home are easier with a cask that pours on demand. This 20L vertical oak barrel includes a faucet and bracket and is listed new at $95.50.

How much can you batch for barrel-aged cocktails at home in 20L?

It holds up to 20 liters, which is a large party batch. Because this medium barrel puts a lot of wood in contact with the drink, start tasting early and often so the oak doesn't take over.

• Stick to spirit-forward recipes and skip juice and dairy.
• Use the faucet to sample without disturbing the batch.
• The char level isn't listed. Ask the seller, since it shapes flavor.
• Rinse the barrel and keep it wet between batches.
