20L Vertical Wooden Wine Barrel w/ Faucet&Bracket for storing whiskey, rum, brandy

About this barrel

Choosing a 20 liter aging barrel comes down to batch size and patience. Mini barrels of a few liters flavor spirit fast but can overshoot, while full-size casks take years. This new vertical oak barrel with a faucet and bracket lands in the middle, at $95.50.

Who is a 20 liter aging barrel best for?

It suits people who want more than a few bottles per batch but still want results on a home timeline. Expect slower changes than in a tiny barrel and faster ones than in commercial casks.

• 20 liters is a medium size for whiskey, rum or brandy.
• More volume means more spirit to buy for each fill, so budget for that.
• Check the listing for exact dimensions and weight.
• Swell it with water before the first batch.
