Refinery and Co. Wood Whiskey Barrel Drink Dispenser Manual 800 mL Brown

About this barrel

The Refinery and Co. 800 mL whiskey barrel drink dispenser holds a bit more than a standard 750 mL bottle, so a full fifth fits with room to spare. It's new, brown, described as manual, and listed at $40.00.

Can you age whiskey in an 800 mL whiskey barrel drink dispenser?

It's listed with aging barrels, and casks this small work fast. Check the listing for any interior char or treatment, and taste after a few days.

• Swell it: fill it with water first so the wood seals.
• What "manual" means: probably a hand-operated tap, so check the seller's photos.
• Small footprint: suits apartments and office shelves.
• Gift ready: since it's new, it makes an easy present for a whiskey fan.
