Oak Aging Barrel Drink Dispenser w/ Spigot & Stand 1-2L Whiskey Wine Rustic Deco

About this barrel

An oak barrel drink dispenser with spigot and stand makes a small moment out of every pour, whether the cask holds whiskey, wine or a batch cocktail. This new mini barrel is listed at 2.0L, but the title says 1-2L, so confirm the exact capacity in the listing. It sells for $39.00.

Can an oak barrel drink dispenser also age spirits?

Yes. The seller lists it as an aging barrel, so it can mellow whiskey or wine before you tap it. At this mini size a lot of the liquid touches the oak, so the flavor changes quickly.

• Swell it first: fill it with water and let the staves tighten before you add liquor.
• Taste often: a small barrel can make a spirit too oaky within weeks.
• Check the details: look at the listing photos for the spigot and stand, and check whether a char level is given.
• Rustic decor: on a bar cart or shelf, it also works as a display piece.
