1 Liter Whiskey Aging Barrel

About this barrel

Want to give a store-bought bottle some extra oak character? This 1 liter whiskey aging barrel is listed new at $40.00. It's made of oak and holds 1.0L, a mini size that lets home hobbyists see results quickly.

How fast does a 1 liter whiskey aging barrel work?

Faster than you might expect. More of the liquid touches wood, so changes can show within days to weeks. Start tasting early and often.

• Prep it: soak the barrel with water until the leaks stop, then fill it with spirits.
• Check the details: the title lists no char level, spigot or stand, so confirm those in the seller's listing.
• Reuse ideas: after a whiskey batch, a small cask can flavor rum, aged cocktails or homemade vinegar.
• Display bonus: a mini oak cask looks right at home on a bar cart.

Bought through eBay, it's covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
