Authentic Used Oak Wine Barrel - FREE SHIPPING SPECIAL Only To California

About this barrel

California buyers looking for a used oak wine barrel should take note: the title advertises a free shipping special only to California, and the barrel is priced at $351.00. If you live outside the state, read the listing to see whether it ships to you and what it costs.

What can you build from a used oak wine barrel?

Half-barrel planters, bistro tables, bar stools, rain catchers and wall art are all common projects. A whole barrel also works on its own as an accent by a door or on a patio.

• Size: capacity isn't listed, so ask for the height and diameter.
• Before cutting: screw the hoops to the staves so they don't spring loose.
• Outdoors: an exterior finish slows weathering.
• Smell: expect some wine aroma at first; it fades over time.
