20L Vertical Wooden Wine Barrel w/ Faucet&Bracket for storing whiskey, rum, brandy

About this barrel

Home winemakers can use a 20 liter wine barrel with spigot and stand to finish a red or hold a batch for serving. The oak barrel sits upright on its bracket, and the faucet lets you fill a carafe without siphoning. It looks good on a counter too.

Can you store wine in an oak barrel long term?

Yes, but oak breathes, so the wine slowly picks up wood flavor and air. Taste it regularly, keep the barrel full and move the wine into bottles when it tastes its best.

• Before use: fill with water to swell the staves, then drain.
• Capacity: about 5.3 gallons, or roughly 26 standard wine bottles.
• Spirits too: the listing also names whiskey, rum and brandy.
• Check: the photos for faucet style and bracket finish.
