20L Vertical Wooden Wine Barrel w/ Faucet&Bracket for storing whiskey, rum, brandy

About this barrel

A vertical wine barrel saves the cradle and keeps things simple. This 20L oak version has a faucet and bracket, and it's listed new for $95.50.

Is this barrel only for wine?

No. The title names whiskey, rum and brandy as well, so it covers several uses. For wine, a 20L oak barrel is small enough that the wood influences flavor quickly, so keep a close eye on timing and taste often.

• Volume: 20.0L, which is a medium size in this category.
• Stance: stands upright rather than lying on its side.
• Accessories: faucet and bracket per the title.
• Before filling: swell with water and look for leaks; a wet new barrel can weep a little at first.
