10L Barrel Cask Wooden Storager For Wine Brandy Whiskey Beer Dispenser Keg

About this barrel

At $52.19, this new 10L oak aging barrel from an independent eBay seller is a budget-friendly way to start experimenting with spiced rum, finished whiskey or oaked homebrew. The title names wine, brandy, whiskey and beer, and the 10-liter capacity holds more than a dozen standard bottles' worth.

What can I age in a 10L oak aging barrel?

Spirits are the most common choice, but wine and beer work for shorter stints. Pick one lane at first, because the wood will carry flavors into later batches.

• Rum tip: try a few weeks, then taste for vanilla and caramel notes.
• Prep: soak with water until the barrel stops leaking.
• Unknowns: char level and included accessories aren't listed, so read the description.
• Protection: covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.

Smaller casks age quickly, so a 10L barrel rewards frequent sampling.
