10L Oak Barrel Cask Wooden Storager For Wine Brandy Whiskey Beer Dispenser Keg

About this barrel

Home winemakers outgrow mini casks fast, and a 10L oak barrel for wine is where real batch sizes begin. This new wooden cask holds 10 liters, roughly 13 standard bottles. The title also lists it for brandy, whiskey and beer, and as a dispenser.

How long should wine age in a 10 liter oak barrel?

Much longer than in a 1 or 2 liter barrel, because there's less wood per liter of wine. Expect weeks to months, and taste regularly.

• Seal it: fill it with water and let it swell before adding wine.
• Top up: keep it full to limit air exposure.
• One drink only: keeping the barrel just for red wine keeps the flavor consistent.
• Confirm specs: check the listing for the toast level and whether a tap and stand are included.
