20L Vertical Wooden Wine Barrel w/ Faucet&Bracket for storing whiskey, rum, brandy

About this barrel

Most barrels lie on their side, but a vertical oak barrel with spigot stands upright, which can suit a narrow bar shelf or a kitchen corner. This new 20-liter version comes with a faucet and bracket and is listed at $95.50.

Why choose a vertical oak barrel with spigot over a horizontal one?

It comes down to footprint and style. An upright cask looks like a small keg on display, and the faucet makes serving easy. The height and width aren't given, so measure your space against the listing.

• Leave room below the faucet for a glass or decanter.
• Swell the wood with water before adding spirits or wine.
• Set it on a stable, level surface away from heaters.
• If the photos don't show how the bracket attaches, ask the seller.

The title suggests it for whiskey, rum and brandy.
