5L French Oak/Timber/Wooden/Wine Barrel WH Brass tap for Moonshine Heavy Toasted

About this barrel

The main feature of this 5L French oak barrel with brass tap is its heavy toast. Toasting heats the inside of the staves without charring them, bringing out spice, toasted bread and vanilla tones. A heavy toast pushes those notes further. The seller lists it for moonshine, wine and other spirits.

Is a heavy toasted French oak barrel right for moonshine?

It's a strong match. Unaged moonshine has no wood character of its own, so a heavily toasted 5 liter cask can add depth and color quickly.

• The brass tap lets you pour or sample without pulling the bung.
• Taste early and often, since heavy toast in a small barrel works fast.
• Soak it in water until the barrel holds without dripping.
• It's brand new and priced at $154.09.

It's covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
