New Visible 5L French Oak/Wooden/ Barrel for Wine/port/spirits/ Moonshine aging

About this barrel

French oak tends to give a subtler, spicier influence than American oak, which is why many winemakers favor it. This new 5L French oak barrel brings that profile to small home batches of wine, port, spirits or moonshine.

What makes this 5L French oak barrel 'visible'?

The seller describes it as visible, but the title doesn't explain what that means. Look through the photos and description to see how it's built before you order.

• 5 liters is about 1.3 gallons, a good size for fortified wine or a port-style project.
• Moonshine and other white spirits pick up color and softness from the wood.
• Swell it with water before filling, just as you would any other oak barrel.
• The title doesn't give the toast level, so confirm it in the listing.

It's brand new at $154.09 and covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
