New Visible 800mL French Oak Keg for Spirits/ Moonshine aging Gift Keg

About this barrel

An 800mL French oak keg holds about as much as a single wine bottle, which makes it one of the smallest ways to age spirits or moonshine at home. This one is listed brand new at $90.76 and sold as a gift keg.

How is French oak different from American oak for aging?

French oak usually has a tighter grain and gives subtler spice and tannin. American oak leans toward vanilla and sweetness. Choose French oak if you want a lighter wood flavor in your spirit.
