20L Vertical Wooden Wine Barrel w/ Faucet&Bracket for storing whiskey, rum, brandy

About this barrel

Pouring wine straight from a cask makes an impression, and this new 20L wooden wine barrel is set up to do it. It stands upright on a bracket and pours through a faucet. The oak barrel is listed at $94.54, and the title says it works for spirits too.

Can you store wine in a 20L wooden wine barrel?

Yes, for short-term storage, serving or light oak aging. Wine picks up oak flavor faster in a small barrel than in a full-size winery cask, so taste it often.

• Keep it full: air inside the barrel can spoil wine, so top it up or drain it promptly.
• Prep: rinse the barrel and swell it with water before adding wine.
• Red or white: bold reds usually handle oak better than delicate whites.
• Placement: keep it in a cool spot out of direct sun.
