10L Barrel Cask Wooden Storager For Wine Brandy Whiskey Beer Dispenser Keg

About this barrel

Pouring from wood turns an ordinary pint into a bit of theater, and a 10L wooden beer keg dispenser is a manageable way to try it at home. This new oak keg, listed by an independent eBay seller at $54.93, is billed for beer as well as wine, brandy and whiskey.

Can I serve beer from a 10L wooden beer keg dispenser?

Yes, for short-term serving at parties or tastings. Oak adds character quickly in a small vessel, so serve within a reasonable window and taste as you go.

• Prep: rinse and fill with water first so the staves tighten.
• Tap: "dispenser" is in the title, but confirm the spigot type in the photos.
• Carbonation: wooden casks aren't pressure vessels, so expect a softer, cask-style pour.
• Cleaning: rinse right after emptying and refill or store as the seller advises so the wood doesn't dry out.
