3 Liter Charred American White Oak Aging Barrel, Whiskey Bourbon Wine Cask

About this barrel

This 3 liter charred American white oak aging barrel is an easy way to start making barrel-aged cocktails, and it's listed new. Fill it with a premixed Manhattan or Negroni, or stick with whiskey, bourbon or wine.

Can you age cocktails in a small charred oak cask?

Yes. Spirit-heavy cocktails without juice or dairy age well in oak and mellow over a few weeks. Taste them regularly, because a 3 liter cask works fast.

• Getting started: soak the barrel with water until it stops leaking.
• What's included: check the listing for a stand, spigot and bung.
• Char: the level isn't given, so ask the seller.
• Upkeep: keep it full between batches so the staves don't shrink.
