1 Liter Charred American Oak Aging Barrel With Wood Stand, Bung & Spigot

About this barrel

This 1 liter charred American oak barrel is a handy tool for bar-cart experiments like barrel-aged Negronis, Manhattans or a quickly rested rum. It's new, includes a wood stand, bung and spigot, and costs $80.23.

What can you age in a mini charred American oak barrel?

Almost any spirit or stirred cocktail. The char and the small volume add noticeable oak character in a short time, so it's ideal for testing recipes before you make bigger batches.

• Soak the barrel with water before the first fill.
• Start with 1-liter batches of cocktails so you don't waste a big run.
• Use the spigot to pour straight into a mixing glass.
• Keep it away from heat sources to protect the wood.
