Red Head Barrels 1 L Premium DistilleryGrade Oak Barrels for Aging Whiskey, ...

About this barrel

The Red Head Barrels 1 L oak aging barrel is a compact new cask that the seller describes as premium and distillery grade. It's made for turning a single bottle of spirit into a home-aged batch and is listed at $82.04.

How fast does a 1 liter oak barrel age whiskey?

Quickly. A 1-liter barrel has a lot of wood surface for the amount of liquid inside, so it can add color and oak flavor in weeks rather than years. Start tasting early and often.

• Cure it with water first so the joints swell tight.
• The title doesn't mention a char level, so check the listing if toast or char matters to you.
• Try white whiskey, rum or a batched cocktail like a Manhattan.
• Look in the description to see which accessories come with it.

It takes up little space, works fast and makes a fun countertop project. It's covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
