1.5L Vintage Oak Wood Wine Barrel Keg Bucket Home Wine Storage Accessories CCTD

About this barrel

A 1.5L oak wine barrel keg with a vintage look fits neatly on a kitchen counter or wine rack. This new barrel is sold as a home wine storage accessory and costs $80.50.

Can a 1.5 liter oak barrel be used for aging, not just storage?

It's listed for aging, and because it's small, wine or spirits pick up oak fairly quickly. Taste regularly so the wood doesn't overpower what's inside.

• Fill it with water for a few days to swell the wood before use.
• It holds about two standard bottles of wine.
• Try it for a small batch of homemade vinegar.
• Check the listing for dimensions and whether a stand or tap is included.

Your purchase is covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee. It's a small, decorative way to give homemade wine or a favorite spirit some oak character without filling a big cask.
