How long should I leave a cocktail in a 1L oak aging barrel?

Start tasting after a few days. Mini barrels work fast, and a batched cocktail can go from smooth to woody quickly. Take it out when you like the taste.

• Prep: fill it with water and wait until the wood swells and stops seeping.
• Reuse: refill it with a new spirit to build up layers of flavor over time.
• Char: the title doesn't give it, so check the description.
• Gifting: a 1 liter mini whiskey barrel is a good gift for bourbon fans and home bartenders.
