3L Wooden Whiskey Barrel with Stand Bung and Spigot Whiskey Barrel Dispenser

About this barrel

The title of this new 3L whiskey barrel dispenser lists everything you need to start: a stand to hold it, a bung to seal the top and a spigot for pouring. At $30.58, the oak barrel holds about four standard 750 ml bottles.

What does each part of a 3L whiskey barrel dispenser do?

The stand holds the barrel steady on its side. The bung closes the fill hole, and the spigot lets you pour a taste or a drink without lifting the barrel.

• Fit the spigot and swell the barrel with water before adding whiskey.
• Watch the spigot area for drips while it soaks.
• The char level isn't stated, so look in the description.
• A 3 liter barrel ages faster than a 5L, so taste it weekly.
