5L/1.32Gal Aging Barrel Wooden Whiskey Barrel Bourbon Wine Barrel Home

About this barrel

This wooden bourbon barrel is a new 5L oak cask, about 1.32 gallons, offered by an independent eBay seller for $38.88. It works for bourbon, wine or other spirits, and an empty barrel also looks good on a home bar.

What should I do before filling a wooden bourbon barrel?

Cure it. Fill the barrel with clean water and leave it for a day or more so the oak swells and closes small gaps. Then drain it and add your spirit.

• Size: 5.0L, so batches stay small and aging moves quickly.
• Wood: oak; the listing should say if the inside is charred or toasted.
• Storage: keep it away from heat and direct sun.
• Buyer protection: eBay Money Back Guarantee.

Message the seller with any questions about the spigot, bung or stand before you buy.
