5L/1.32Gal Aging Barrel Wooden Whiskey Barrel Bourbon Wine Barrel Home

About this barrel

Looking for a 5L oak aging barrel for small-batch projects? This new listing holds 1.32 gallons and is priced at $38.88. The title names whiskey, bourbon and wine as uses.

Is a 5 liter barrel big enough to be useful?

Yes, for a modest batch. Five liters fills about six or seven 750ml bottles' worth of liquid, and because small barrels age faster than large ones, you can see changes within a short tasting schedule. Sampling often prevents over-oaking.
