Hammer and Axe Wood Whiskey Barrel 800 ML 26 FL OZ For Spirits New in Box

About this barrel

Starting your first batch? The Hammer and Axe wood whiskey barrel in this listing is new in box and holds 800ml, which the seller lists as 26 fl oz. It's made for spirits and holds a manageable amount for experimenting.

How do I prepare a new wood whiskey barrel?

Fill it with water and let it sit until the wood swells and the drips stop. Then empty it and add your spirit.

• Start tasting early. Small oak barrels work much faster than full-size casks.
• Try an inexpensive white whiskey or moonshine to see a big color change.
• Check the photos to see if a spigot and stand are in the box.
• Keep it filled between uses so the staves don't shrink.

The 26 fl oz in the title is a little under 800ml, which is about 27 fl oz, so go by the metric size. It's sold by an independent seller and covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
