New Hammer + Axe Whiskey Barrel 1L, 800ml/27 fl oz Volume, Vintage Wood Design

About this barrel

This Hammer + Axe whiskey barrel is sold as a 1L barrel that holds 800ml, or 27 fl oz. It has a vintage wood design that looks right on a bar shelf. The listing marks it as new and gives the wood as oak.

Is this a 1 liter or 800ml whiskey barrel?

The title lists both numbers. Plan on 800ml of liquid, and message the seller if the exact amount matters for your recipe.

• Prep: soak it in water for a day or more until it stops seeping. Then drain and fill.
• Aging speed: a barrel this small adds oak flavor quickly, so taste every few days.
• What to age: bourbon, rum, tequila or batched cocktails like a Manhattan.
• Accessories: check the photos to see if a tap and stand come with it.
