About this barrel
Picture a small cask on your counter that pours your house bourbon whenever you want. That's the idea behind the Hammer + Axe whiskey barrel dispenser, an 800ml (27 oz) oak barrel listed as new and made for the home bar.
How do you use an 800ml spirits dispenser barrel?
Season it with water and drain it. Then fill it with the spirit you want and pour as needed. The longer the liquor sits, the more oak flavor it picks up.
- Taste every few days. A small barrel can add too much oak if you forget about it.
- Check the photos to see if a stand and spigot are included.
- Good choices: bourbon, rye, aged rum or a batch of Old Fashioneds.
Shopping for a host or groomsman gift? At $14.99, it's a fun one. It's sold by an independent eBay seller, and the eBay Money Back Guarantee covers the order.
