2 Gallon Whisky Barrel American made

About this barrel

Made in America according to the title, this 2 gallon whisky barrel (about 7.6 liters) falls between quick-aging mini barrels and slow full-size casks. It's new and listed at $149.00.

How long should whisky stay in a 2 gallon barrel?

There's no fixed answer. Start tasting after a couple of weeks and pull the whisky when the oak tastes balanced. A 2 gallon barrel works more slowly than a 1 gallon one but faster than a large cask.
