10 LITER (2.5 Gal) FRENCH OAK BARREL Tequila Rum Whiskey Moonshine MED CHAR #3

About this barrel

Ready to move up from mini casks? This 10 liter French oak barrel holds 2.5 gallons and has a #3 char, which the seller calls medium. It's listed new at $145.00 by an independent eBay seller for tequila, rum, whiskey and moonshine.

What does a #3 medium char French oak barrel do for moonshine?

The charred layer helps take away harsh flavors and adds color. French oak usually adds a more delicate spice than American oak. A 10L cask ages more slowly than a 2L or 3L, so the flavor builds up more gradually.

• Fill it with water before adding spirit. Bigger barrels can take longer to seal.
• It's a good size for aging a full run of unaged moonshine or blanco tequila.
• Check the listing to see if a stand, bung or spigot is included.
• Your purchase is covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
