Small Oak Barrel Whiskey Wine Dispenser with Tap & Stand | 1L Spirit Aging Wood

About this barrel

A 1 liter oak barrel dispenser is the smallest practical way to age and serve at once. Fill it, let it rest, then pour straight from the tap. It comes with a stand and is listed for whiskey, wine and spirit aging.

Does a used 1 liter barrel need special care?

Yes. Small used barrels dry out quickly when they sit empty. Before filling, soak it with water to reswell the wood and rinse out any old residue. Ask the seller what it held last, because that flavor will carry over.

• Speed: at 1 liter, aging is very fast, so taste every few days.
• Tap: check that the spigot doesn't drip once the barrel has swelled.
• Stand: included, which makes it ready for a counter or bar.
• Gift idea: its size works well as a desk or shelf piece for a whiskey fan.
