5L/1.32Gal Wine Barrel Wooden Whiskey Barrel Bourbon Wine Barrel Home

About this barrel

This 5L wine barrel is built from oak and listed new at $38.88 by an independent eBay seller. At 1.32 gallons, it is also named for whiskey and bourbon, which gives you a flexible small barrel for home use.

Is a 5L wine barrel the right size for me?

If you want a trial run, yes. It holds enough for several bottles without taking over a room, and it ages liquid quickly because of the small size.

• Fill with water first to swell the wood.
• Choose one drink type to keep flavor consistent.
• Check the listing for char level, stand or tap.
• Compare against other 5L barrels for price.
