20L Vertical Wooden Wine Barrel w/ Faucet&Bracket for storing whiskey, rum, brandy

About this barrel

Need a mid-size cask for home use? This 20L vertical wooden wine barrel comes with a faucet and bracket, and the title lists it for storing whiskey, rum and brandy. It is new at $113.00 from an independent eBay seller.

Can a 20L vertical wooden wine barrel hold whiskey, rum or brandy?

The listing title says so. Because 20 liters is a medium size, it ages more slowly than a tiny barrel but still faster than a large cask, so plan on regular tastings.

• Check the listing to see whether the interior is charred, lined or left raw.
• Swell the barrel with water before filling to help the staves seal.
• Look at how the bracket holds the barrel upright and whether the faucet is included.
• Confirm the exact dimensions before you choose a countertop or floor spot.
