20L Wood Wine Barrel Dispenser W/ Stand For Beer Brandy Tequila Whiskey Rum Port

About this barrel

At 20 liters, this wood wine barrel dispenser with stand is a party-size cask. It can serve or age larger batches of wine, beer, brandy, tequila, whiskey, rum or port. It's listed new.

Does a 20 liter oak barrel age slower than small ones?

Yes. Each liter touches less wood, so aging is gentler and takes longer. That suits wine and port, which you don't want to taste too strongly of oak.

• Stand: included, according to the title. A full 20 liter cask is heavy, so set it up where it will stay.
• Swelling: soak it with water before the first fill. Larger barrels can take longer to seal.
• Char or toast: not stated, so check the item details.
• Beer use: plan to clean it well between batches.
