30L Vintage Wood Wine Barrel Dispenser for Beer Brandy Tequila Whiskey Rum Port

About this barrel

Curious what a few months in wood does to blanco? A tequila aging barrel lets you try your own rested, reposado-style batches. This new 30L vintage wood barrel dispenser is listed at $112.40 by an independent eBay seller. The listing names tequila along with whiskey, rum, brandy, beer and port.

How long should spirits rest in a tequila aging barrel?

Larger barrels work slowly, so expect anywhere from weeks to months. Taste it regularly, and bottle it when the oak balances the agave instead of covering it up.

• Swell the barrel with water before you add tequila.
• The listing doesn't give the char or toast level, so ask the seller, since it changes the color and flavor.
• Write down the fill date and your notes each time you taste.
• Check the photos for the tap and stand.
