5L Oak Aging Barrels Whiskey Barrel Dispenser Wine Bucket No Leak for Storage...

About this barrel

For a mid-size batch, a 5L oak aging barrel sits nicely between fast minis and big casks. This new whiskey barrel dispenser is also described as a wine bucket for storage. It's listed at $75.99 by an independent eBay seller, whose title calls it no leak.

How do you keep an oak barrel from leaking?

Even well-made barrels can seep at first. Fill it with water and let the wood swell until the drips stop. Then drain it and fill it with your spirit or wine. Keep it full between uses.

• Five liters holds more than six standard bottles.
• It ages at a steadier pace than 1 or 2 liter barrels.
• Check the listing for charring and tap details.
• Good for whiskey, rum, wine or homemade vinegar.
