An independent eBay seller lists it at $695.

Does a vintage root beer barrel soda dispenser still work?

The listing doesn't say. Treat it as a display piece unless the seller confirms otherwise. Ask about the internal fittings, the tap and any past use before you plan to serve from it.

• Look through every photo for cracks, loose hoops and finish wear.
• Ask for the height and diameter, since no size is given.
• Find out whether any original hardware or signage comes with it.
• Ask how it will be packed and shipped, since it's large and likely heavy.
