Vintage Wood Oak Timber Wine Barrel For Beer Whiskey Rum Port 1.5L XQWL

About this barrel

The name says 'vintage,' but this 1.5L oak wine barrel is listed as new. The word refers to its rustic, timber-style look. The seller suggests it for beer, whiskey, rum and port, and at 1.5 liters it falls between a one-bottle cask and the popular 3L size.

What is a 1.5 liter oak barrel best for?

It's good for small experiments. You can age two bottles' worth of rum or whiskey, give a fortified wine like port more oak, or rest a barrel-aged cocktail for a party.

• Fill it with water to swell the wood before you add anything you care about.
• 'XQWL' may be a seller or model code. Check the listing for any brand details.
• The char or toast level isn't given, so confirm it before you age spirits.
• Covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
