3L Oak/Timber/Wooden/Wine Barrel WH Copper Tap for aging Mooshine

About this barrel

The main feature of this 3L oak barrel with copper tap is the spout. It gives the cask a classic look and lets you pour straight from it. The barrel is listed brand new and aimed at aging moonshine, though wine and other spirits work too.

Can you really age moonshine in a 3 liter oak barrel?

Yes. In a small barrel, clear corn spirit quickly takes on color, sweetness and oak flavor. Many people who age at home cut it to a lower proof first and taste it every few days to a week.

• Swell the barrel with water and check the tap seal for drips before filling.
• The title doesn't mention charring, so read the description.
• It holds about four 750 ml bottles.
• Covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
